A new server rack was deployed with a misconfigured network switch, capping throughput at 100 Mbps instead of 1000 Mbps. This lead to intermittent slowness and errors over the last few hours, which has now been fixed. While our databases are catching up, you may notice new content (posts, drafts,… cool! I was wondering about this. The new iPhone app update is really nice too.

THANK YOU to all the iPhone app developers who added multitasking support to their apps. I don’t even have the new phone, but being able to switch apps and not have to restart is real real real real so so so so nice. Notable apps worth updating: Tumblr, omnifocus, PANDORA (this even uses the remote to play pause and skip tracks), plants vs zombies, bejewled
