Turns out my dead car was just a dead battery #yay

Turns out it’s hard to find a 2002 PT Cruiser battery #boo

Found a shop that had a new one #yay

Got there last night and they claimed that they wouldn’t do the FREE BATTERY INSTALLATION (as the sign suggested) #boo

Tried to start the car with the old battery today and it didn’t #boo

Disconnected the terminals myself, only to learn that PT cruisers batteries are BOLTED to the frame, which you can’t get at unless you disconnect the air filter box and hoses #boo

Called AAA to find out they won’t install a battery unless you BUY A AAA battery #boo & #wtf

Googled how to install 2002 PT cruiser battery  on my iPhone and found this great video: How To: Change a PT Cruiser car battery #yay #ftw

Did it myself and drove to work.
